PERANCANGAN PUSAT KONVENSI DAN PAMERAN DI KABUPATEN BADUNG

Abstrak

Bali, especially in Badung , the tourism and cultural site attractions centre is famous nationally and internationally. The successful tourist industry makes Badung the first richest region of Bali in terms of revenues. This economic growth has led to the demand for meeting places like convention and exhibition facilities to host civil events like seminars and exhibitions, concerts, wedding juniors, and cultural troupes. Consequently, while South Badung currently has several established convention centres, North Badung has none. To fill this gap, a site in Mengwi District on Jl. Raya Mengwitani was selected. The centre occupies 26,238 sq.m of space and comprises a four-star hotel, plaza, restaurant, food court, swimming pool, and underground parking. Translated from the Neo-Vernacular Architecture concept, it enriches Balinese cultural characteristics while responding to a modern image of the area.
