This study aims to examine the existing conditions of the riverbank and to analyze the application of green building concepts as a flood mitigation strategy. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through field observations and literature review. The findings indicate that green building principles have not been optimally implemented, as evidenced by limited infiltration areas, the dominance of impermeable materials, and the absence of a planned stormwater management system. The application of green building concepts, including the arrangement of green open spaces along the river corridor, the use of permeable materials, passive building design, and rainwater management, has the potential to reduce flood risk and improve environmental quality. This study is expected to serve as a basis for recommendations for sustainable and environmentally friendly riverbank planning.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/wastuloka/article/view/1694REVITALISASI BANTARAN SUNGAI JEMBATAN PEKAMBINGAN DI KOTA DENPASAR2026-01-19T05:17:19+00:00M Endra Pramana Putramadeendrapramana@gmail.com
The Tukad Pekambingan riverbank in the Pekambingan Bridge area of Denpasar City serves important ecological and social functions as a river buffer zone and an urban public space. Improper land use has caused environmental degradation, reduced buffer zones, and increased flood risk. This study aims to develop a riverbank revitalization concept that restores the buffer function, enhances public safety, and creates sustainable public spaces. A qualitative descriptive method was applied through field surveys, direct observation, and visual documentation. The results show that restoring green spaces and river buffer zones improves environmental quality while providing new recreational areas for the community.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/wastuloka/article/view/1695REVITALISASI KAWASAN TEPI AIR SUNGAI SEMPIDI-SADING MELALUI PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR HIJAU DAN ADAPTASI STRUKTUR ADAPTIF BENCANA2026-01-19T05:17:19+00:00I Putu Gede Bimantaraiputugedebimantara@gmail.com
The Sempidi-Sading Riverbanks suffered serious physical damage following the September 2025 flood and landslide disaster, marked by the failure of retaining walls, silting of the river channel, and inappropriate use of the riverbanks. This study aims to formulate strategies for the management and rehabilitation of the riverbank area through a green architecture approach and a green waterfront concept. The research method used was a case study with qualitative descriptive analysis based on field observations, visual documentation, and literature. The results indicate that river normalization, hybrid retaining wall reconstruction, public greenway design, and flood-adaptive revitalization of the Taman Beji Temple are integrated solutions capable of restoring the area's ecological, social, and spiritual functions. The integration of bioengineering, local materials, and communal public spaces is key to the success of sustainable riverbank management.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/wastuloka/article/view/1696STRATEGI PERENCANAAN BANTARAN SUNGAI BERBASIS MITIGASI BANJIR PADA KAWASAN GANG GARENG JEMBATAN JALAN KEMUDA2026-01-19T05:17:19+00:00Muhamad Ardian Maulanaardianmlna27@gmail.com
In the context of environmental resilience, riverbank planning is an architectural and engineering strategy to manage high rainfall intensity and prevent flooding in urban areas. This study explores the planning of riverbanks at the Kemuda River Bridge, Gang Gareng, Bali, which frequently experiences flooding due to river overflow and inadequate infrastructure. A descriptive qualitative method is used to examine the principles of site observation and physical intervention. The results show that planning must involve dredging sediment, strengthening embankments (retaining walls), and creating green open spaces to increase water absorption. Implementing this riverbank planning allows for environmental sustainability by reducing flood risk and preserving the river ecology while improving the safety of the surrounding residential areas.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/wastuloka/article/view/1697PERANCANGAN MASJID TERAPUNG DI LOMBOK TENGAH2026-01-19T05:17:19+00:00Wahyu Ripaldiwahyuripaldi00@gmail.comAgus Wiryadhi Saidiagus.wiryadhi@unr.ac.idMade Ratna Witariratna.witari@unr.ac.id
South Central Lombok is rich in natural and cultural tourism potential, but this area only has one mosque to accommodate coastal tourism. To support this area, a mosque is needed that can serve as a tourist attraction as well as a place of worship. By providing this Floating Mosque, it can increase the attraction of religious tourism and is able to complement the worship facilities around the coast of Central Lombok. The selected location is at Tanjung Aan Beach, Sengkol Village, Pengembur Hamlet, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, with an area of 8,273.98 square meters, this floating mosque is equipped with a prayer room, a multi-purpose hall, classrooms, management rooms, a parking area, a cooperative shop, a cooperative office, a library, a lobby, a plaza, and a garden. The design uses a basic religious and communicative concept and uses the theme of Neo-Vernacular Architecture combined with elements of Sasak Lombok Architecture, aiming to develop local traditional architectural principles into a modern design expression while still respecting tradition, society, culture and the environment, thus creating an icon or landmark in Central Lombok.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/wastuloka/article/view/1701PERANCANGAN PUSAT KONVENSI DAN PAMERAN DI KABUPATEN BULELENG2026-01-20T07:03:17+00:00I Kadek Setia Dwi Putrakadeksetiadwiputra@gmail.comMade Mariada Rijasamariada.rijasa@unr.ac.idMade Ratna Witariratna.witari@unr.ac.id
MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition) tourism plays a strategic role in boosting the national economy. Buleleng Regency, Bali, is striving to enhance its MICE tourism potential to boost the local economy. Currently, Buleleng has local facilities such as Sesana Budaya Building, Gde Manik Art Building, and City Park Building. However, a national-level convention center is needed to accommodate MICE activities. A new convention center is planned to be built on Jalan Raya Cekik Seririt Singaraja, with an area of 10,725 m2 and a total building area of 16,659 m2, spanning 3 floors. With a neo-vernacular theme and communicative-commercial concept, the design program and concept include functional programs, spatial programs, site planning, structure, utilities, outdoor spaces, lighting, and transportation systems. Thus, Buleleng is expected to enhance its MICE tourism potential and boost the local economy.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
