MONUMEN SEJARAH PERJUANGAN RAKYAT LUWU DI KOTA PALOPO DENGAN PENDEKATAN TEMA HISTORICM ARCHITECTURE

Abstract

The Monument to the History of People's Movement in Luwuq in Palopo City is designed as a major sector of historical tourism to increase knowledge and provide employment. The main facilities include a museum, lobby, auditorium, library, and diorama, as well as supporting facilities such as a restaurant, coffee shop, souvenir shop, and walking/jogging track. Ancillary facilities include administration rooms, cleaning, security, maintenance, and prayer rooms. This monument carries the concept of Conservative, Educative, and Recreative, with the theme of Historicism. Located on Jl. Pongtiku, Salobulo, Kec. Wara Utara, on an area of 16,469 m², the planning takes into account the environment, climate, noise, topography, and surrounding area. The design of the building, structure, and utilities follow applicable norms and rules, prioritizing safety and comfort. The monument aims to be a historical education center and landmark of Palopo City.
