Abstract

Blahkiuh Market, a traditional market in Badung Regency, experiences high vehicle activity during peak hours, leading to parking difficulties. This research aims to identify the parking system, analyze vehicle arrival and departure patterns, assess parking needs and capacity, and provide recommendations. The study employs direct field observations to record vehicles entering and leaving, aligning with actual conditions. Data collected include parking duration, volume, accumulation, turnover, capacity, and management, which are then processed into tables for analysis. Results show that the market can accommodate 215 two-wheeler parking spaces on 426 m² of land and 15 four-wheeler spaces on 135 m². Recommendations derived from this analysis can assist in optimizing parking management and addressing congestion issues at Blahkiuh Market, ultimately improving accessibility and functionality for visitors and traders alike.
