Abstract
Lombok, an island famous for its natural beauty and cultural richness, is experiencing a unique architectural phenomenon. Many modern office buildings adopt the form of a barn, a traditional Sasak house used to store rice. This phenomenon is interesting to study, considering the many other types of traditional Sasak houses. This article analyzes the barn phenomenon in office building design in Lombok, exploring its symbolic meaning, aesthetics, and its relationship to cultural identity, tourism potential, and environmental sustainability.
