Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Preparing your manuscript

The minimum standard requirements of INVENTION must be:

  • Written in Indonesian or English.
  • Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA 7th Edition (further information please visit https://apastyle.apa.org/).
  • Make sure that your paper is prepared using the INVENTION paper template
  • It should be between 4000 - 6000 words, including table/figure captions, and references. Editors will evaluate if a paper is needing more than 6000 words.

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present following the structure:

  • The title of the paper should describe the research aims, method/model, and objective, without an Acronym or abbreviation
  • It should contain an abstract of 150-300 words (between 3 – 6 keywords). State in the abstract a background briefly, research objectives, methods used, and research results.
  • Your manuscript should be written in accordance with the following elements in the following order: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments, references.
  • References. Expect a minimum of 20 references primarily with a minimum of 80% to journal papers published the last 10 years.
