Developments in public service organizations require employees to possess adequate digital competencies and maintain a balance between work demands and personal life to support performance. In line with this condition, this study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance and digital competence on employee performance at the Department of Archives and Library of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design involving 72 civil servants selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that, partially, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as does digital competence. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening work-life balance and developing employees’ digital competence to support performance in the public sector.
