TATA KELOLA TROTOAR DI JALAN AHMAD YANI UTARA UNTUK MENGEMBALIKAN PERUNTUKANNYA
Abstract
Cities with high population and activity certainly have an impact on infrastructure needs. One of the infrastructures that must be available is roads, (road bodies and pedestrian paths). Walking is everyone's right, and the sidewalk is where it belongs. Currently, sidewalks, especially in cities, are experiencing a shift in function. The location is also a place to sell for street vendors, a place to put business signboards, and vehicle parking lots to as temporary garbage storage. This sidewalk condition also occurs in Denpasar, especially on Jalan Ahmad Yani Utara. When there are pedestrians who are walking, they have to walk up and down the sidewalk to walk on the body of the road, so it is very dangerous. This study aims to discuss the management of existing sidewalks and sidewalk problems there. By using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach, data collection was collected through direct observation of the research location. The results showed various sidewalk problems that caused the sidewalk to change function and discussed suggestions for pavement arrangement.
