REDESAIN PEDESTRIAN JALAN UDAYANA BLAHBATUH GIANYAR
Abstract
Sidewalks are one of the vital facilities for the development of a city. Sidewalks paths connecting routes from one point to another that can only be accessed specifically by pedestrians. Good and comfortable pedestrians must be able to accommodate the various needs of pedestrians so they can use pedestrians smoothly, safely and comfortably, in order to reduce people's need or dependence on motorized vehicles. One of the pedestrians used as a case study is the pedestrian on Jalan Udayana Blahbatuh, Gianyar. Some of the problems noted at the location include the lack of representation of the sidewalks to accommodate pedestrian activities, such as school-age children. So it is necessary to redesign this pedestrian to provide comfort to its users. The research methods used include surveys to the site, in addition to looking for standard sidewalk data. From the redesign, a friendlier pedestrian design is obtained and it is hoped that it will be able to accommodate the activities of all city residents.
