MAKNA FUNGSI DAN STRUKTUR PELINGGIH PRAPEN PADA TRAH PANDE

Abstract

In this research, the main problem is the meaning, function, and structure of the Prapen pelinggih in the Pande clan. Data collection is collected through field observations, as well as secondary data collection through literature studies on various online sources and journals. In carrying out this research, documentation done through photos of research objects in at Br. Tangkup, Payangan, Gianyar. Apart from that, a photo documentation also conducted as comparison in Br. Melinggih and in Br. Amo, Payangan, Gianyar. The results of the research can be concluded that the meaning of the Prapen pelinggih in the Pande clan is that it has meaning from an economic, spiritual, and religious perspective. The function of Prapen in the Pande clan is as a place of worship for God who has provided safety for His people. Prapen is also intended for the Pande clan to carry out their job to crafted tools and objects out of iron which is carried out every rahinan kajeng kliwon. Pelinggih prapen also functions for treatment and neutralizes negative things, besides functioning as a form of brotherhood.
