The low level of student understanding regarding the harmful substances contained in cigarettes and the risk of becoming a passive smoker was the background for the implementation of this educational program. The activity was carried out on October 17, 2025, using interactive counseling methods, visual media, and question-and-answer sessions. Evaluation used pre-test and post-test administered to 98 students on questions 11–15 covering knowledge of nicotine, lung damage from cigarette smoke, passive smoking, and diseases caused by smoking. Results showed significant improvement in all indicators. Understanding of passive smoking increased most sharply from 61.2% to 87.8%. Overall, the average student score increased from 79.5 in the pre-test to 86.8 in the post-test. This program proved effective in improving students' health literacy regarding the dangers of smoking and vaping.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Nurul Maulidiyahhttps://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/diankara/article/view/1809Strengthening Skin Health Literacy And Economic Empowerment Of Women’s Communities In Melasma Mitigation In Rural Gianyar2026-04-29T22:03:41+00:00Putu Shinta Widari Tirkashintatirka@gmail.com
Melasma is a chronic hyperpigmentation disorder characterized by dark patches on the face caused by ultraviolet (UV) exposure. This condition is common among women in rural areas with high outdoor activity, including a women’s community in Banjar Geria, Gianyar. The main problems include low skin health literacy, unsafe skincare use, and limited financial management for health needs. This community service program aims to enhance participants’ capacity in melasma prevention through skin health education and basic financial management training. The methods include participatory education, skincare application demonstrations, and distribution of educational materials. The results indicate improved understanding of melasma risk factors, better ability to select safe skincare products, and increased awareness of budgeting for health needs. This integrative approach effectively promotes preventive behavior changes and contributes to improving the overall quality of life in the community.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Putu Shinta Widari Tirkahttps://ojs.unr.ac.id/index.php/diankara/article/view/1756Mentoring of Muhadoroh Training in Improving the Self-Confidence of Students at TPQ Al-Musyahadah2026-02-11T08:02:55+00:00Nury Sri Dimjatinurysridimjati31@gmail.com
Self-confidence is a fundamental component in the development of students’ character, particularly in supporting Islamic preaching and communication skills. However, empirical conditions indicate that some students in Qur’anic Education Centers (TPQ) still experience challenges such as lack of confidence, anxiety in public performance, and limited public speaking ability. This community service program aims to enhance students’ self-confidence through mentoring-based muhadaroh training. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving stages of observation, material delivery, communication exercises, muhadaroh practice, and evaluation. The program involved 25 students of TPQ Al-Musyahadah. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in students’ confidence, communication skills, and courage in delivering Islamic messages orally. Therefore, muhadaroh training proves to be an effective strategy for character development and strengthening students’ communication competencies.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Nury Sri Dimjati
